For those of you who may not have heard of them, the Nerd Girls are a group of college age women, originating at Tufts University, who are breaking the stereotypes of women in the so-called male dominated fields of science and engineering. They promote science and engineering to young women and work on engineering projects including the design and construction of a solar car.

The cool thing is that there is a Nerd Girls reality show casting call going on right now! If you are between the ages of 18-23, and are interested in becoming a Nerd Girl, check out their website and apply!! The deadline is August 1.
