Who wants free money?  Well, who doesn't?


Now's the chance for chapters to get some cash!  There are nine days left for chapters to submit an application for a LEAP incentive award!  This is a $100 award available for chapters to use for leadership programming, and is most commonly used for national meetings, like Leadership Conference 2010 coming up this summer in Cleveland.  (Side note - registration opens this week, so stay tuned for more information!)


So why do you care?  If you're an active, you should care because the LEAP incentive could help cover your registration fee for conference this summer.  If you're an alumna, you should care because you don't want your chapter to miss out on this freebie and maybe the opportunity to send one more active to conference.  Each chapter is required to send at least one delegate to conference, so each chapter should be applying!


So what can you do?  Actives, remind your presidents that the application deadline is coming up, and maybe offer to help out with the application (although it's really quite painless).  Alumnae, remind your chapters of how many fantastic memories you have from national meetings as an active and make sure that they don't miss out on the same opportunities!


Applications are due by midnight on March 15, to LEAP@phisigmarho.org.  No late applications will be accepted!  Please email the LEAP director at this address if you need an application or have any questions.
