National Council Spring 2010 Face-to-Face Meeting

This past weekend, National Council met in Indianapolis, IN for our Spring 2010 Face-to-Face meeting! We had a very exciting weekend with a lot to do and a lot to accomplish. This spring, our session focused on the following:

• National Council training (required for National Council as the LEAP Star Award) 
• Finalizing the strategic plan - we're almost finished and can't wait to share it with you all at Conference 2010
• Conference 2010 Planning
• National Awareness Campaign planning - get ready chapters, we'll be on our way to visit you all soon!
• Technology improvements for the national organization
• Updates on how the chapters are doing
• And a meeting with Triangle at their headquarters 
• Some fun teambuilding activities for National Council - with a few Triangle guys there too

One additional announcement - the National Council monthly telecons have been moved to the third Sunday of every month at 1pm EST (10am PST). If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let us know!
 
We were very lucky this weekend to be able to spend time with Brian Tenclinger, the Executive Director of Triangle, at their headquarters to discuss potential areas of collaboration - including Convention 2011! We're very excited about the opportunities to work together at a national level.  Brian Tenclinger, Ryan Hayes (Foundation Director of Development),and Jeff Cottrell (Triangle Vice President) also joined us for our social on Friday night. Many thanks to the guys from Triangle for their support, ideas, and time!
